Moraira is on the northern Costa Blanca, between Calp and Xàbia (Jávea). The two most convenient airports are Alicante, an hour's drive away, and Valencia, a little further. Here are your options.
From Alicante airport (ALC)
It's the closest: about 95 kilometres, just over an hour by car. Take the AP-7 motorway towards Valencia and leave at exit 63 (Benissa), then follow the road down to Moraira. There are no tolls on the AP-7 on this stretch.
Traffic tends to build up near Benidorm at weekday rush hours (08:00–10:00 and 17:00–19:30), so allow a little extra time.
From Valencia airport (VLC)
It's about 120 kilometres, around an hour and twenty minutes by car, also on the AP-7, this time towards Alicante. A good option if you find better flights or want to spend a day in Valencia.
Hire car, taxi or bus?
Hire car: the most practical. Some coves in Moraira can only be reached by car, and you'll appreciate it for trips to Calp, Xàbia or Altea. Villa Serenita has 4 covered parking spaces inside the plot.
Taxi or private transfer: the most comfortable if you arrive tired or with children. Book it before you travel.
Bus: ALSA runs buses between Alicante and Moraira. The journey takes around an hour and a half and sometimes involves a change, so check the timetable at alsa.es before you travel.
When you arrive at the house
Check-in at Villa Serenita is from 14:00 and, if the house is ready, sometimes from 12:00. We welcome you at the house, show you around and hand over the keys. Check-out is before 10:00.
From the house, El Portet beach is a 5-minute walk and Moraira town centre about 20 minutes.
